4. 373 people were rescued by Italian Coast Guard & Irish Navy.
5. Over 200 people drowned.

7. Islamic extremism, poverty, & other human rights issues.
8. Israel & Saudi Arabia smuggling routes are now unavailable.
9. Instability in Libya allows migrants easier crossing to Europe.
10. Syrians, Eritreans, & Somalis make up majority of migrants.
