Iran has agreed to stop developing nuclear weapons in exchange for relief from economic sanctions.

  1. Iran has agreed not to build a nuclear weapon.
  2. Iranian research into nuclear weapons will be halted as well.
  3. Atomic energy inspectors will be allowed to inspect Iran at will.
  4. In return the EU and U.S. are lifting economic sanctions.
  5. The international arms embargo on Iran is also being lifted.
  6. Israeli PM Netanyahu believes this is a mistake.
  7. Critics believe this will cause a Middle Eastern arms race.
  8. President Obama stresses this is all built on verification measures.
  9. If Iran violates the deal, sanctions can quickly be put back.
