It matters because the internet will save us all

What is Net Neutrality?

  1. In 2010 the FCC reclassified Internet providers.
  2. This action was done to preserve an open Internet.
  3. In Jan. 2014, that reclassification was repealed by the courts.
  4. In Apr. 2014, FCC released new rules.
  5. New rules allowed providers to create internet fast lanes.
  6. This means that sites have to pay in order to load faster.
  7. Bigger sites can afford to. Small sites cannot.
